Beloved husband of 32 years to Mildred Galluzzo. Loving father of Christina Mruskovic (Steve), Lisa Martinez (Dave), Michelle Wilson, and Theresa Spillane. Adoring grandfather of Cody, Kaylee, Jake, Nicholas, and Rachel. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Nicola was born in Paterson, NJ and was a veteran of the United States Marines, having served during the Korean War. He was employed as a service engineer by Oliver Machinery Company of Michigan for 30 years, and then by Great Lakes Corporation of Chicago, Illinois until his retirement.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 17th from 2-4 & 7-9 at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union. A funeral mass will be offered on Wednesday, February 18th at St. Genevieve’s Church, Elizabeth at 10:30 AM, with interment to follow at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.
