Paul was always willing to lend a hand. I have been his and Beth's neighbor for 20 yrs. The day I moved in Paul offered to help me and it was a great blessing. About 3 weeks ago I invite a friend from church to come over for some food and refreshment. This man was disabled and Paul was right there to help assist him up the stairs to my place. He will be missed!

When I was like 7 Paul taught me how to kill ants with a magnifying glass, that’s something I think of everytime I see an ant now. 
He also taught my brothers and many of my friends and I how to professionally sled. Whether it was in his home made sled track in his back yard or on the ski resort next door he was always out there with us having the greatest time. He really was our big brother and we’ll never forget him.

Paul, where do I start?  We can't believe you're gone.   The day seems a lot harder to get through knowing that you're gone, but what does make it a little  easier is knowing that we have you as our beautiful guardian angel.  Travis, Kaitlyn, and I  will hold our memories close to our hearts forever.   We will never forget you and Kaitlyn eating lemons or anything sour just to make sour faces at each other.  Or our first time at the Drive-In and you making us laugh singing the song from Grease!   You always had us laughing. We looked up to you in so many ways and now we get to look futher up to you.  Rest in Sweet Paradise Paul.  We love you Always!   Fly your beautiful wings.

Your birthday was a day before mine.  You are exactly one day older than me.  
We were both going to be 50 in a few weeks.   It has literally been 30 plus years since I've seen you.
But you never forget the good ones.  I literally just asked Lisa (Trotta) about you this past New Years Eve.   I asked her- Where you were- How you were doing- Had she heard from you.    I asked about your mom- Paula?   Her cat?
She said she didn't know.  It had been a while.  And then a few days ago she tells me that you're gone.  
My heart is so broken that you left at such a young age.  But I am happy that you were loved and that you had children and grandchildren.  That you still had Paula.  I can see from the pictures that you were still your happy go lucky- hilarious self.   I'll never forget hanging out at your place in Irvington  with Lisa and your parents.  Yes, I remember Ray.-  And all the laughs we shared.  Until Again.  Fly high My friend...   Lisa  (the brown one :-))

Paul was always like a big brother to us. He was always smiling, always willing to lend a helping hand, and always happy to teach us important life skills such as how to melt toys with magnifying glasses. Love you, Paul.

Paul was loved and liked by everyone who met him, even briefly. His charm, and non judgmental appreciation of people was infectious. I will miss him dearly.

Though I only knew Paul these past 7 years, his personality made me feel like I knew Him My whole life. I remember first moving to NJ with the Coast Guard. I had no idea where we were going to live. My Wife DJ, Paul's cousin, suggested we live near Beth and Paul and it was the best decision we ever made. Once we moved into the area, there was no person that has ever made me feel so welcome. Paul was the kind of guy that would do absolutely anything for you and I knew we would be great friends, but I was wrong. We became so much more, we became Family. I will forever cherish our time together and I am so glad I had the privilege to take you guys to see the NYC fireworks on board the Coast Guard Cutter. It is a memory I will never forget. I am surely going to miss him. We love you.

Paul was a good man with a good heart. He always tried to bring a smile to your face and was always happy to lend a hand or offer a word of encouragement. He will live on in fond memories (and funny stories) and in time, will undoubtedly still bring smiles to the faces of those who knew him. God bless.
