Raymond Loneker, 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at UMDNJ, Newark. Raymond was born in Elizabeth, NJ on April 5, 1946 and resided there until moving to Hillside where he lived for the past 28 years. He was employed at Tony’s Sunoco Station in Elizabeth for 20 years, and later worked for Bob and Richie’s Sunoco Station in Elizabeth for 15 years before his retirement in 1999 due to Rheumatoid arthritis.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Audrey; his brothers Ronald and Leslie, and his sisters Kathleen Pereira and Gail Hickey, as well as his beloved Amazon parrot, Nicky.
Memorial mass will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Christ the King Church, Hillside at 10:30. Arrangements are under the direction of McCracken Funeral Home, Union.
