Robert A. Heimall

Robert was born in Boston, MA and resided in Hillside, NJ before settling in Union in 1986. He was employed by the Union County Sheriff’s Department for 26 years, and retired as a Sergeant. After being retired for one year he returned to the Sheriff’s Security Department, working in the administration building. He was a member of PBA Local 108, Emerald Society, retired Union County Police & Fire, Joseph Nugent Sr. Association, Springfield-Hillside Elks #2004, and NJ FOP #69 (Trenton).

Cherished son of the late Christian and Margaret Heimall. Beloved husband of Mary L. Heimall. Loving father of Margaret A. Keller and her fiancé Ed Capen, Jennifer A. Heimall, Kristin R. Linden and her husband Christian. Adoring grandfather of John Keller Jr., Justin A. Keller, and Patrick Camb.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 1st from 3-7 PM at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union NJ 07083. A funeral mass will be offered on Monday, November 2nd at 9:15 AM at St. Michael’s Church, Union. Cremation will be private.
