Robert J. Wuerthner of Roselle Park, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Monday May 9, 2016. A Funeral Service will be held at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Avenue Union, NJ, on Friday May 13, 2016 at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Kenilworth, NJ. The family will receive their friends on Thursday May 12, 2016 from 4-8 PM. Bob was a tool & die maker with Basic Tool & Die of Hillside, NJ, before his retirement, he served his apprenticeship with Diamond Expansion and attended NJIT in Newark, NJ. He served his country proudly in the US Air Force during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a member of the Roselle Park American Legion Post 60 and the Warren Blue Ridge Sportsman Club. Beloved husband of Virginia Wuerthner and the late Gail Wuerthner, devoted father of Robert A. and his wife Jennifer Wuerthner, loving grandfather of Bobby and Emma, dear brother of Suzanne and her husband Ron Gorda and the late Frederick Wuerthner; he is also survived by his uncle John Misteli. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
