

Rose Mary Marczak passed away peacefully on February 21, 2026, at the age of 91. She was born in Newark, NJ on June 6, 1934, and lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and deep devotion to her family.
A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Rose Mary was known for her straightforward nature and strong presence and showed her love through action. She delighted in spoiling her grandchildren, often arriving with bags of clothes and toys found at tag sales, gifts chosen with care and joy.
Rose Mary was deeply involved in her community and gave generously of her time. She proudly served as a den mother for the Boy Scouts, where her patience and care left a lasting impression on many young lives. She was also well known at local baseball games for organizing 50/50 raffles, chauffeuring players and fans, and enthusiastically cheering with her signature cowbell.
An excellent cook, Rose Mary expressed her love through food, especially her cherished Christmas cookies, which became a beloved tradition and a symbol of the warmth she shared with everyone around her.
Rose Mary’s legacy of love, generosity, and joyful service will live on through her family and all those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Marczak, and her son, Richie, whom she missed dearly.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Szymanski, her husband Bob, and Barbara’s son, Joseph Rivetti (his wife Grace and great grandchildren Emma and Valentina); and by her son, Robert Marczak, his wife Cheryl, and their children RJ (and his wife Jazmin), Luke, and Matthew.
