Stephen “Steve” Demcsak passed away on April 20, 2017. Loving husband to Mary Jo Demcsak for 49 years, and loving father to Brian, Mary Jo Halligan and her husband Kevin, and the late Stephen. Beloved and doting grandfather to Stephen, Sean and Colin. Dear brother of Frank Demcsak and Denise Traina. Steve was an active member of St. Genevieve’s parish where he served as the president of the Home School Association and the Athletic Director. Steve was a bank officer for 16 years then transitioned to commercial and marketing sales with CBF from which he retired after a 30 year career. Steve was a native of Elizabeth, NJ but recently relocated to Savannah, GA a town he loves.
A visitation will be held at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave, Union on April 24 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Genevieve’s church, 200 Monmouth Rd, Elizabeth, on April 25th at 11am followed by an entombment at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.
