Theresa H. Russell

Theresa H. Russell age 82 passed away on Sunday November 28, 2021 at Brandywine Living at the Gables in Brick, NJ. She was born and raised in Newark NJ and lived in Elizabeth and Hillside before residing to Springfield.

Theresa (Sissy), as her family called her, was a homemaker and home health aide. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends, especially the cookies around the holidays.

Theresa was a devoted Catholic at St Rose of Lima Church in Millburn. She will be remembered as a loving and loyal mother, grandmother, and sister.

She was predeceased by her husband Franklin P. Russell, brothers Robert Pfaff, Ronald Pfaff, Peter Erickson and brother in-law John Saverino.

Surviving are her daughter Bernadette Pereira and husband Paul, her grandchildren Paul, Ricky and Joshua Pereira and wife Dana and her great granddaughter Sophia Pereira. She is also survived by her brother Louis Erickson and wife Loretta, sister Ellen Saverino and nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday December 6,2021 at 10am at St Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave. Millburn.
