Thomasine R. Chinni

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2012. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 21, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ 07083.

Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Thomasine was a longtime resident of Union, NJ before moving to Jackson, NJ in 1998.

Thomasine was office manager for Albert Romano Inc, Construction Company for fifty-eight years. Family was everything to her. She generously gave time, support and loving, faithful care to her husband, parents, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and friends, carrying on with the credo: "Other people's burdens are for sharing." Her integrity, kindness and strength in times of trouble are, and will be, remembered with great affection and respect.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph L. Chinni; her treasured brothers Albert Romano, Michael Roman and Salvatore Romano; her loving sisters Josephine Spottiswoode and Michelina Farese; and niece Janine Thomas.

Surviving are twenty-one nieces and nephews; Florette Carlucci, Dolores Chinni, Diane Clayton, Kathleen Czerwinski, Joanne DiSilva, James Farese, Roslyn Galiano, Barbara Lombardi, Michael Lucariello, Quentin Lucariello, Lorraine McGee, Rosemarie Nicholas, Valerie Novak, Caryl Openshaw, John Riebe, Ellen Romano, Joseph Romano, Michelle Senseman, Sally Skogen, Laura Spottiswoode, and Erica Stickel; thirty-six great-nieces and nephews; and twelve great, great-nieces and nephews.
