Vincent Faranda, age 92, of Union, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 30, 2015. A visitation will be held at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Avenue Union, NJ, on Saturday January 2, 2016 from 9-10:30 AM with prayers at 10:30. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park Union, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ, Vincent has resided in Union, NJ, since 1929. Vincent was a tool & die maker with Federal Pacific in the Ironbound section of Newark for 35 years retiring in 1985. He was a member of the International Association of Machinist & Aero Space Workers. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army serving in the Pacific during WWII. Vincent was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Faranda and his siblings Carmello, Josephine, Louis and Philip Faranda. He is survived by his devoted sister Frances Faranda and many loving nieces and nephews
