William D. Nemecek, age 79, of Union, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday July 17, 2022. A Funeral service will be held at McCracken Funeral Home 1500 Morris Avenue Union, NJ, on Thursday July 21, 2022 at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Forest Green Park Cemetery Morganville, NJ. The family will receive their friends on Wednesday July 20, 2022 from 4-8 PM. Bill was an automotive body repair technician at Summit Trucking, for 25 years before his retirement. He was a classic car enthusiast. He loved working on his classic cars which he entered into competition at car shows. He was a member of the Lead East of Parsippany, NJ and Galloping Hill Cruisers of Union, NJ. Bill is survived by his devoted sister Ruth Mascola, his loving nephews Daniel Mascola and Michael and his wife Maria Mascola. He is also survived by his great-nephew Joel Mascola.
