

In loving memory of "Coach" Barry Westbrook, a pillar of the Upland community, who passed away February 7th, 2024. Barry Westbrook, born in Los Angeles, CA, and later a resident of Orange County, CA, transitioned to Upland in 1994. With a background in football, martial arts, and sales, Barry's heart found its calling in coaching and mentorship.
With an illustrious career spanning over 30 years, Coach Westbrook dedicated his life to Upland football, leaving an indelible mark on countless individuals. His legacy as a mentor and leader will forever be cherished and will continue to live on through the lives in the community he touched, utilizing football as a medium to inspire and shape the futures of many.
Survived by his son, Nick Westbrook of Claremont, CA, his loving spouse Susan Collett of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and cherished grandsons Marcus Westbrook, Nick Westbrook Jr., and Andrew Hernandez. Coach Barry Westbrook will forever be remembered and deeply missed. In addition to his coaching legacy, Barry found joy in his retirement from World Emblem, where he had a successful career. May his spirit of guidance and passion for the community remain an enduring beacon of inspiration to all who knew him. Coach Westbrook’s impact on Upland and beyond will be a lasting testament to his love, passion, and unwavering commitment to others. He will forever be loved and deeply missed.
