Consuelo Medel Zamora

Connie was born on November 30, 1924, in Laverne and lived in Upland for 98 years. Connie and her late husband Tony were parishioners of St. Joseph Catholic Church for many years. Connie worked for the Upland packing house in the early forties and later she cleaned homes in the Upland community and became good friends with the families.

Connie enjoyed camping with her husband and children and having picnics at lakes and parks with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed having coffee with her girl cousins and lady friends. Connie belonged to a lady’s club, and they would meet for lunch once a month. She loved gardening and would spend hours outside.

Connie is survived by her son Raymond Zamora (Terry) of Upland, daughter Marie Tobin of Arizona, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren. Connie will be missed by all her family and friends.

A rosary and mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Upland on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM with a burial following at Bellevue Memorial Park, Ontario. Stone Funeral Home, Upland oversees arrangements.
