Dorothy June Doke, age 94, of Rancho Cucamonga, California beloved mom, grandma, great-grandma and friend to many passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023, at her home surrounded by family.

Dorothy, the youngest daughter of five siblings and born in Minnesota was both spirited and spiritual. Her strength and faith carried her and her family through happy and challenging times.

Her love story began when she met Jack Doke at about five years of age while riding her bicycle in front of her home. Jack stopped to fix her pedal and the romance began. They were married in 1948 and had five children. Together Dorothy and Jack also created a family business that spanned nearly three decades and which brought great pride to Dorothy.

Dorothy will be missed greatly but will remain in our hearts forever. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Jack Doke, and oldest daughter, Connie Doke. She is survived by her children (Debbie Sharp, Danny Doke, Randy Doke and Cindie Perry), four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and her cherished friends and extended family. Services will be held at St. Peter & St. Paul Catholic Church, 9135 Banyan Street, Alta Loma, CA on December 4, 2023, at 10:30AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Peter & St. Paul Catholic Church, 9135 Banyan Street, Alta Loma, CA 91737which brought great peace to Dorothy for many years.
