Eliza Padilla

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eliza Padilla, who departed this world peacefully on September 3, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on March 1, 1944 to Antonio and Guadalupe Padilla, in Robstown, Texas, Eliza lived a life filled with love and creativity.

For more than 15 years, Eliza dedicated herself to her work in the fabric section at Walmart, where she became a beloved figure among her coworkers and customers alike. She was also a dedicated fan of Elvis Presley, often filling her home with his music and sharing her enthusiasm with anyone who would listen.

Whether she was sewing or crafting something special for a loved one, her hands were always busy, and her heart was always open.

Eliza was preceded in death by her 2 brothers, 3 sisters, as well as her beloved son, David . She is survived by a devoted family that includes her sons Samuel (JR), Daniel, and daughter Jane. Eliza took great joy in being a grandmother to Justyne, Daniella, Nichole, Samuel, and Samantha. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Natasha. Eliza cherished her relationships with her son-in-law, Mario, and daughter-in-law, Guadalupe (Lupe), both of whom held a special place in her heart.

She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A funeral service to honor Eliza's life will be held on September 17, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Stone Funeral Home, located at 355 E. 9th St, Upland, California. Friends, family, and all who knew Eliza are invited to gather and celebrate.
