

Gregory is deeply missed by his beloved wife of 41 years, Faith Higgins; his two sons, Gregg Higgins (Allie) and Gary Higgins (Sandy); his two daughters, Geniece Higgins (Diego Torices) and Lisa Vanderplate (Randy); eight cherished grandchildren—Matthew Higgins, Joshua McDivitt-Higgins, RaeAnn Vanderplate, Timothy Higgins (Bethany), Sarah Vanderplate, Isabel Higgins, Claira Higgins, and Cade Higgins; and one sweet great-grandchild, Joanna Higgins. He is also survived by his five siblings: Arlene, Robert, Julia, Dennis, and Susan.
A proud veteran of the United States Army, Gregory served his country with honor. Following his military service, he started his career as a Radiologic Technologist . Through hard work and dedication, he advanced to hold the title of Director of Radiology at San Antonio Community Hospital prior to his retirement. His leadership and commitment left a lasting impact on his colleagues.
In retirement, Gregory embraced life fully. He found joy in playing golf—a game he loved dearly— treasured every moment spent with his children and loved spoiling his grandchildren. Above all else, he cherished traveling and sharing time with the love of his life, Faith.
Gregory’s legacy of love and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who mourn his passing.
A memorial service for Gregory will be held Monday, January 27, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Draper Mortuary Chapel, 811 N Mountain Ave, Ontario, CA 91762. A committal service will occur Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, California 92518.
