John Banacky passed unexpectedly in his home in Arrowhead, California on Friday, March 14th. He was born April 24th, 1968, in Fontana, California. John lived his last year in the mountains, where he had always dreamed of living amongst the trees, near a lake. He made many dear friends and memories during his time in Arrowhead, no matter how short his time there was. He is survived by his daughter, Kristin May, his son, Jonathan, and his sister, Carol. A man with a passion for the outdoors and for music, he passes these passions on to his children. John and his children would often spend family time fishing, hiking, and attending concerts. His children carry on his legacy as Kristin has recently re-enrolled in school for wildlife and forestry management, and Jonathan puts his own passion for music into creating and playing songs for his band. The family will hold an open ceremony at Bellevue Memorial in Ontario, California, where John will be put to rest near his parents, John Richard and Monica.
