Joseph J DeLavo, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at his home in Upland, Ca. Joe was 80 years old, and continued his love of repairing musical instruments up until the end. He worked for GTE from the late 60's to the late 80's when he retired. He then went on to be the repairman at Ontario Music until they closed, then at Gard's Music. Joe was always helpful and kind, volunteered his time to the Music departments of Chaffey and Upland High Schools.
Joe is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Elena DeLavo. He is survived by his children Samantha Chaffin (husband Kevin), and Gina DeLavo. Grandchildren Ashley DeLavo, Joey Chaffin and Jessica Chaffin.
