Pastor Leroy Green Jr., a devoted husband, loving father, cherished grandfather, and faithful servant of God, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025, at the age of 79. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, Leroy built a meaningful life in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and later in Vancouver, Washington, where he continued to walk in faith and purpose.
He was the beloved son of the late Leroy Green Sr. and Jannie Taylor Green, who instilled in him the values of faith, hard work, and family that shaped the man he became.
Leroy dedicated his career to improving lives as a Biomedical Engineer. His true calling, however, was in ministry. As a pastor, he led with humility, wisdom, and a deep love for God—guiding countless souls and sharing the gospel with conviction and compassion.
He found joy in reading the Bible, traveling, and spending quality time with his family. Leroy will be remembered for his steady presence, generous heart, and unwavering faith.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Judie Green of Vancouver, WA; his children, Nikketa Green of El Dorado Hills, CA, and Marquis Green (Dawn) of Rialto, CA. He was a proud grandfather to Brendan Green, Cailen Green, Jaylee Green, and Jaden Bilderain.
His siblings Doris Cudjo (Rev. Jimmy Cudjo), Dorothy Smith, Rev. Horace Green, Charles Green (Jacqueline), Rev. Ivory Joe Green (Yeteast), Geraldine Harris, and Billy Ray Green (Frenia). He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Leroy’s legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to shine through those whose lives he touched and inspired during his journey here on earth.
