

Murielle Marie "Dudi" Dahl, 93, of Waddell, Arizona (formerly of Ontario, California), passed away on June 5, 2015 with family members by her side. She was born on June 28, 1921 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Albert and Loretta Minea. She attended St. Joseph's Academy High School in St. Paul. She married her high school sweetheart, Donald Robert (Bob) Dahl on December 12, 1942 in Tuscon, Arizona. The couple moved to California after Bob completed his service as Captain in the U.S. Army Air Corps 289th Bomb Group in WWII, made their home in Ontario and raised a family there. Dudi worked with the Upland Police Department as Records Supervisor for many years, retiring in 1976. She and Bob celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary among friends and family in January, 1993. Dudi enjoyed painting, playing bridge with friends, and traveling extensively with Bob in their prized Airstream trailer.
Dudi was preceded in death by her husband and four siblings. She is survived by daughters Cheryl Thunholm, Cynthia DeFrank, Roberta Essig, and son Scott Dahl and by eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Services will be held at St. Anthony Church in Upland, California on June 17, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. A visitation and rosary will be held at Stone Funeral Home in Upland, California on June 16, 2015 at 7 p.m.
