Ronald Larry Villanueva Sr.

Ronald Larry Villanueva, 77 of Upland, CA passed away peacefully on March 28, 2023 surrounded by his family. Ronald was born on April 2, 1945, son of Alfred and Pauline Villanueva. The beloved husband of 60 years, he is survived by his wife Cecilia (Martinez) Villanueva, daughter Valerie Segura of Alta Loma, Ronald Villanueva Jr. (spouse Terry) of Upland and Sandra Perales (spouse Rick) of Ontario, 8 grandchildren (his pride and joy) Cynthia, Crystal, Carissa, Erica, Ronnie, Jessica, Deanna, Melissa and 5 great grandchildren. Ronald was the youngest of five siblings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother David Villanueva and sister RoseLee Villanueva Pellinen. He is survived by brothers Alfred Villanueva and George Villanueva.

Ronald was employed by Vortox Company for over 50 years when he retired. Ronald enjoyed cooking, family gatherings and vacations, fishing trips, watching old western movies, word searches, drives and spending time with relatives and friends. He is deeply loved by many and his presence will be missed.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Upland. Interment will follow at Bellevue Cemetery in Ontario.
