

Rosario was born September 1944, in Zacatecas, Mexico. She immigrated to the United States almost 50 years ago , where she held many titles working in agriculture, healthcare and the food industry. Rancho Cucamonga being her home for the majority of her life, is where she raised two children, daughter Mayra (Vasquez) Padilla and son Pedro Moreno.
Rosario started each morning with a cup of tea and prayer. She enjoyed her morning walks to gossip with her friends and to get her daily dose of scratchers from her favorite neighborhood convenience store. She loved watching her telenovelas and going on outings while listening to her favorite spanish radio. She was also an avid spanish music lover and a collector of family memorabilia. She was known for her quick wit, compassionate spirit, and infectious laugh.
Rosario E. Silva is survived by her children Mayra (Vasquez) Padilla and husband Albert Padilla, and son Pedro Moreno; grandchildren: Vannessa Ceja, Angelica Ceja and her partner Dylan Sauter, Peter Moreno, Samantha Delgado, Alexus Lucero, Natalie Delgado, Frank Padilla, and Albert Padilla Jr; great-grandchildren: Elinor Solorio, Norah Sauter, and Roselyn Padilla; and extended family: Crystal Sanchez, Nicole Avila, and Nicaella De Alba.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 25th 2021 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (10079 8th St, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730) cremation to follow.
