Amanda L. Butler

Born May 29, 1955, in Burke County, she was a daughter of the late Bobby A. Butler and Peggy Bridges Brown, of Fairburn, GA. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Mimbs.

In addition to her mother, her memory will also be cherished by a son, Bobby Cooke & fiancé, Melissa Bishop, of Morganton, NC;

a daughter, Bridgette Cooke, of Hickory, NC;

a brother, Doug Butler & wife, Patti Butler, of Dallas, GA;

and three grandchildren, Ava Cooke, Cri Corpening and Eros Ramirez.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, April 25, 2011, at the Solid Rock Baptist Church, Morganton, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Butler’s memory to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 1721 Enon Road, Valdese, NC 28690.
