Lennie Dorothy Clark

Mrs. Lennie Dorothy Vance Clark, 86, of Morganton, completed her journey here on earth and will start a new life in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, friends and loved ones that have gone before her, on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. She retired from Grace Hospital after working many years in Housekeeping. In addition to her parents, is a son, Bennie J. Clark, one great grandson, Caleb Bollinger and several brothers and sisters.

Those left behind to cherish her memory is one son, Chief Clark, of Newland, NC;

Three daughters, Janet Woodard & husband, Charles, of Morganton;

Wilma Wiseman & husband, Larry of Glen Alpine;

And Martha Powell & husband, Tap, of Valdese;

Twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, three great- great grandchildren and five sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and other realities, friends and a wonderful Church family will also cherish her memory.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Clark will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, January 18, 2013, in the Chapel of Valdese Family Funeral Care & Perfect Peace Cremations, Valdese with the Reverends Roger Gallion, Jerrell Townsend and Ralph Shuffler officiating. Interment will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 20, 2013, at the Daniels Cemetery, Avery County. The family will receive friends 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, prior to the services at the funeral home. At all other times the family will gather at the home of Martha Powell, 1116 Katherine Street, Valdese.
