Nina E Icard

Mrs. Nina Eleise Icard, 90, of Hickory, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Born May 26, 1922, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Walter Dameron and Clara Rebecca Knox Dameron. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Icard was also preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Icard and a grandson, Jonathan Moore. Mrs. Icard was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church, Icard.

Mrs. Icard leaves behind to cherish her memory three sons, Johnny Icard and wife, Dixie, of Hildebran, Tony Icard and wife, Norma Jean, of Icard and

Steve Icard, of Hickory;

Two daughters, Rebecca Ingle and husband, Claude, of Hickory and Brenda Moore and husband, Claude, Jr., of Drexel;

Twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren will also cherish her memory.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Icard will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, December 1, 2012, in the Chapel of Valdese Family Funeral Care and Perfect Peace Cremations with the Reverend Marvin Wiley officiating. Interment will follow at the Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1:00 PM-3:00PM, prior to the Service at the funeral home.
