Robbie Sue Martin Barrett

Ms. Robbie Sue Martin Barrett, 66, of Morganton, died Sunday October 28, 2012 at Burke Hospice & Palliative Care Center in Valdese. Born on October 13, 1946 in Syacauga, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Walter Martin and Nellie Ruth Hickman Martin.

She is survived by her sons, Dean, Bobby, Jeff and Bradley Ballard; three grandchildren, Kelly Jo Ballard, Ashley Ballard and Elijah Ballard; sister, Peggy Smith; and brothers, Roger Martin and Don Martin.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Drucilla Independent Church, 108 Drucilla Church Rd., Nebo with the Reverend Ricky Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
