Barbara A. Sanders, 78, of Van Buren, AR, died Friday, November 23, 2012, in Fort Smith, AR. She was born February 20, 1934 in Mountainburg, AR to the late Leslie and Mildred Gregory. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Sanders, a brother Wesley Gregory, a sister Violet Hesslen, and a grandson James Lingo.
She is survived by a daughter, Rita Lingo and her husband James of Van Buren; two sisters, Mary Strebel and Ethel McGuire of Van Buren; two brothers, Darrell Gregory of Rudy, and Farrell Gregory of Van Buren; four grandchildren, Tammy Blackshear, Patricia Lingo, Mary Steele, and William Newton all of Van Buren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 26, 2012 at Conley Cemetery Pavilion in Mountainburg, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
