In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Treadaway.
He is survived by his son, James William Treadaway and his fiancé, Kristen Bowling and daughter, Ziva Bowling, all of Fort Smith; former wife, Paula Treadaway of Fort Smith; sister, Dorothy Miller of Shirley, AR; three brothers, George A. Treadaway, Jr. of Van Buren, Jerry Treadaway of Fort Smith, and Kenneth Treadaway of Van Buren.
Funeral service will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be James Rice, John Rice, Donald McChristian, Jackie Ensey, Jamie Cox and Tom Dosedel.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
