Blanche Isaacks, 96, of Alma, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016 in a local hospital. She was born March 2, 1919 in Alma to the late Eugene and Dollie Butler. She was a retired bank teller at Commercial Bank of Alma, a member of First Baptist Church of Alma, and a member of the Alma Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star #616. She was the widow of Eugene Isaacks.
She is survived by three daughters, Darlynn Bender of Alma, Jeannette Wazelle of Alma, and Barbara Christy of Spiro; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Alma Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Joel McDonald, Kent Sutton, and Brett Martin. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff members at Alma Health and Rehab.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2016 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren.
