Bobby Allen Morrell

Bobby Allen Morrell, 86, of Dyer, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 in Alma. He was born December 2, 1934 in Mulberry to the late Elmer and Charlene (Price) Morrell. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict, and was a retired owner/operator of service stations. He was a farmer, a commercial fisherman, and a member of the Army National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Morrell.

He is survived by a daughter, Cherylin Messer and husband Parkis of Hempstead, TX; three sons, Bernie Morrell and wife Cheryl of Mulberry, and Mike Morrell and wife Brenda and Dale Morrell and wife Sandy, all of Alma; a sister, Marsha Zamorano of Menifee, CA; twelve grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Living Water Fellowship in Dyer with interment to follow at the Dyer Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be family members.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.

Memorial contributions may be made to a cancer fund of donor’s choice.
