Carolyn Jane Gross, 80, of Fort Smith, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024. She was born October 27, 1943 in Tulare, CA to the late William Robert and Mildred (Wade) Voss. She had worked in a finance office.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Steven August Gross; and her beloved aunt, Opal Elston.
She is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Delaine Lee of Fayetteville, and Emily Jacqu Jane Heather (Scott) of Lewisburg, PA; a son, Peter August Gross of Fort Smith; a sister, Nancy Daleo (Nick) of California; a brother, Paul Voss (Cindi) of Arizona; and seven grandchildren, Emma Savoy, Zackary Lee, Gabriel Lee, Kai Gross, Tripp Gross, Ellie Heather, and Maren Heather.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Ashes will be placed at the Fort Smith National Cemetery. There are no services scheduled at this time.
