Carrie Lynette Byrd, 42, of Van Buren, died Thursday, July 25, 2013 in Van Buren. She was born June 29, 1971 in Fayetteville, AR. She was a hairstylist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert William Cook, and her grandfathers, Don Trammell, and Grady Gully.
She is survived by two sons, Zachary Miller of Fort Smith, and Nathan Cook of Sapulpa, OK; her parents, Kay Kremers of Lowell, AR, and Don Gully of Rogers, AR; two brothers, Chad Gully of Sapulpa, OK, and Michael Gully of Midland, TX; her grandmothers, Wilidean Trammell of Lowell, and Margie Gully of Rogers; and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
A family hosted memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the Witter Community Center in Witter, AR, with interment at Witter Cemetery, Witter, AR.
Mrs. Byrd was cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
