Charles “David” Alverson, 61, of Alma, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 in Fort Smith. He was born August 16, 1962 in Fort Smith to the late Charles and Betty Jo (Hunter) Alverson. He worked for ARS in Fort Smith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles Alverson, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Alverson; two daughters, Jennifer Turner and Katie Barela; three sons, Orrin Alverson, Josh Bovee, and Troy Emberton; a sister, Amber Alverson; two brothers, Larry and Lloyd Alverson; and twelve grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with cremation to follow, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
