

Clinton Ward, 85, of Alma, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 in Fort Smith. He was born May 15, 1930 in Red Star, AR to the late Newton and Ethel Thomas Ward. He was the retired owner/operator of Ward Heating & Air. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Ward of the home; two daughters, Judy Ward of Bentonville, and Linda Rowan and husband Gary of Alma; two sons, Clint Ward and wife Debra of Owasso, OK, and Paul Ward and wife Crystal of Rudy; two sisters, Dorothy Sisemore of Springdale, and Barbara Julick of Westfork; and nine grandchildren, Clark Ward, Daniel Ward, Travis Ward, Delainey Ward, Josie Ward, Autumn Stephens, Ben Stephens, Emma Ross, and Ella Ross.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 14, 2015 at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ with interment to follow at Dyer Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Clark Ward, Daniel Ward, Travis Ward, Ben Stephens, Gary Rowan, and Ryan Almond.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren.
