Clyde Hooper, 69, of Alma, passed away Monday, April 10, 2023. He was born October 13, 1953 in Little Rock to the late Clyde and Annie (Raymond) Hooper. He worked for Pepper Source, and loved drawing, riding his Harley, grilling, movie night, and eating popcorn with his cabbage. He loved his boys very much and was very proud of the men they became. He loved hearing about the grandkids and their games whether it be baseball, basketball, or football.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Larimer.
He is survived by his fiancée, Katie Gartrell of the home; three sons, Joshua Hooper of Centerton, Jeremy Hooper of Pea Ridge, and Jacob Hooper of Springdale; the mother of his children, Kathy Hooper of Centerton; a sister, Virginia Colbert of Bryant; three brothers, Richard, Phillip, and Charlie Walden, all of Tennessee; and six grandchildren, Layla, Rylee, Addison, Kolton, Paislee, and Kaitlynn.
Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
