Courtney Leanne Kendall Owens, 48, of Van Buren, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025 at her home. She was born December 19, 1976 in Tulsa to the late Russell and Vicki (Miller) Kendall. She was the owner/operator of Phat Girl’s Pizza & Grill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Erik Owens; eight children; and a brother, Jason McClelland.
She is survived by two daughters, Shooter Bruce and husband Payton of Alma, and Journey Owens of Fort Smith; two sons, Maverik Owens and Ledgen Owens, both of Alma; two sisters, Brandi Minter and husband John of Georgia, and Sonni Lynn of Oklahoma; and two grandchildren, Roenan and Remington Bruce.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Ashes will be placed at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
