Danny Butler, 80, of Van Buren, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at his home. He was born October 9, 1940 in Crawford County to Cly and Robbie Rae Butler. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force serving during the Vietnam War; and a retired postmaster.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Butler; a son, Steven Butler; and a brother, Raymond Butler.

He is survived by three daughters, Robin Shultz, Toni Lockhart, and Shannon Hutcheson, all of Van Buren; a sister, Peggy Graham of Van Buren; a brother, Red Butler of Alma; twelve grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Trey Alverson, Kevin Shultz, Keith Shultz, Ronnie Butler, John Lockhart, and Bryton Hutcheson.

Viewing will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2021, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
