David Manuel Bray

Manuel Bray, 77, of Mountainburg, AR, died Thursday, February 23, 2012 in his home. He was born May 29, 1934 in Fort Smith, AR. He was a retired co-owner and operator at Joan’s Detail in Fort Smith, AR, served in the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of Van Buren Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Ellen of the home; a daughter, Mary Blasingame of Dyer, AR; two sons, Billy Bray of Mountainburg, AR and David Bray of Van Buren, AR; a sister, Faye Berry of Van Buren, AR; 10 grandchildren, Joshua Bray, Jeremey Bray, Steven Autry, Robert Autry, Michael Bray, Caleb Bray, Joanie Turby, Ethan Bray, Billy Bray and George Bray; 4 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 27, 2012 at Locke Cemetery in Locke Community, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Frank Morgan, Jack Thomas, Josh Bray, Jeremy Bray, Dewayne Roller and Harold Morgan.

Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
