He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Couch and Mildred (Thornburg) Copeland; a sister, Sue Nichols; and three brothers, Phillip Fleming, Benny Bynum, and Wayne Bynum.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Couch of the home; two sisters, Flora Herod of Kempner, TX, and Ann Wigley of Charleston; and three brothers, Roger Bynum of Sherwood, Jim Bynum of Greenwood, and Alan Bynum of Stillwater.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at River of Life Fellowship in Fort Smith with burial to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be James Green, Jim Parish, Dennis Mitchell, Mason Efurd, Billy Waters, and Jakob Mann.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2025, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
