Donald Gentry

Don Gentry, 73, of Alma, passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 at his home. He was born March 10, 1947 in Mulberry to the late Clyde and Augusta Gentry. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Van Buren, and was an avid golfer. He placed second in a State Golf Tournament for Alma High School. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nita Gentry Smith; and two brothers, Darrell Lee Gentry and Clyde Gentry.

He is survived by his wife, Diana of the home; two sons, Mike Gentry and wife Teresa of Blevins, AR, and Steven Gentry of Cheyenne, WY; his twin brother, Ron Gentry and wife Sherri of Van Buren; a sister-in-law, Diane Gentry of Hooks, TX; four grandchildren, Meghan, Tyler, Bailey, and River Gentry; and a great-grandchild, Chloe Cobb.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
