Dorothy West, 76, of Van Buren, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014. She was born November 3, 1937 in McCleary, Washington to the late King and Ormaline Goldsmith. She was a retried LPN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert West; a daughter, Karen Sue Corley, and a brother, Charles Goldsmith.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Meadors and husband Dennis; two sons, Ray Corely and wife Lisa, and Bill Corley and wife Kay; a sister, Betty Nounce and husband Nathan; nine grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 6, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2014, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
