Mr. Ernie Stokes, 80, of Rudy, AR died Friday, January 9, 2015 in an area nursing home. He was a retired computer programmer for the United States Government, and was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, where he served as a linguist.
Mr. Stokes is being cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren. No services are scheduled at this time.
He is survived by his loving companion Sharon Ridenour of Rudy, AR, a daughter Audrey Kilpatrick of Carmichael, CA, a son Jim Stokes of Novato, CA, and three grandchildren.
