

Eva Mae Dodd, 100, of Van Buren, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026 at her home. She was born April 3, 1926 in Lavaca to the late Buell and Mary (Earls) Price. She was a homemaker with many talents. She enjoyed painting, quilting, crocheting, crossword puzzles, and playing the piano by ear.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Dodd; and a daughter, Janice Diane Mainard.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Belt and husband Johnnie of Van Buren; a son, James Dodd and wife Leslie of Fort Smith; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and thirty great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1:00 pm. Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church in Van Buren with interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Robert Davis, Jason Davis, Juston Kincer, Dylan Silva, Dakota Silva, and Kenneth Releford.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
Special thanks to two of her granddaughters, Ashley Johnson and Becky Kincer, for their love and dedicated care of their grandmother over the last four years.
