

Flossie Irene Kibler of Kibler passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at her home. She was born in Fort Smith to the late Walter and Velma Thomas. She was the owner of the Pie Plate Shoppe in Van Buren, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Kibler United Methodist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest “Junior” Kibler; a son, David Kibler; and a brother, Paul Thomas.
She is survived by two sons, Joe Kibler and wife Frankie of Kibler, and Ken Kibler and wife Sally of Fort Smith; three sisters, Mildred Kibler of Kibler, and Robbie McBride and Patricia Landers both of Van Buren; two brothers, Charles “Buddy” Thomas of Fort Smith, and Lewis Thomas of Van Buren; five grandchildren, Kristen Kibler Myers, Melanie Kibler Barnes, Joy Kibler White, Kourtney Kershner, and Kamy Kershner; and eight great-grandchildren, Mark Myers, Jr., Nicholas Myers, Henry Myers, Elizabeth Barnes, Joshua Barnes, Benjamin Barnes, Julia White, and Jonah White.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2014 at Kibler United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Rick Kibler, Mike Kibler, Bill Kibler, Mark Myers, Daniel Barnes, Jeff White, and Benjamin Smith.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kibler United Methodist Church Building Fund, 19 East Kibler Hwy, Alma, AR 72921.
