

Frankie Parrish, 72, of Van Buren, died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in Van Buren. She was born August 11, 1940 in Mulberry, Arkansas to the late Frank and Ora Capp. In addition to being a homemaker, she worked at the Van Buren Public Library, and was a member of Kibler Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Oscar Parrish of the home; a daughter, Jeana Parks and husband Rick of Kibler; a son, David Parrish and wife Charla of Alma; a brother, Butch Capp and wife Sue of Rudy; two grandchildren, Miranda Crabtree, and Micah Parks of Kibler; and a great-grandchild, Lawson Crabtree of Kibler.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be John Parrish, Ted Burkhart, James Crabtree, Micah Parks, Stan Green, and Mark Arnold.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday, January 25, 2013 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, Arkansas.
