Mrs. Helen Stacy, 90, of Alma, AR died Sunday, January 16, 2011 in a local nursing home. She was a retired Librarian for the Alma Public Library, a member of the Alma United Methodist Church, and was the widow of John L. Stacy. Her and her brothers once played and sang on the Arthur Godfrey Television show.
Funeral service will be at 12:30 pm Wednesday, January 19, 2011 in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
She is survived by two daughters; Carol Stacy of Alma, AR, Linda Phillips of Van Buren, AR, two sons; Steve Stacy of Klamath Falls, OR, Joe Stacy of Osage Beach, MO, seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 6 pm to 7 pm Tuesday, January 18, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway in Van Buren.
