Herbert David Woughter, 73, of Mountainburg, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022 in Ozark. He was born January 16, 1949 in Binghamton, NY to the late Gilbert and Mae (Griswold) Woughter. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a truck driver having worked for North American Van Lines for 30 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Woughter; and a sister, Carol McCarty.
He is survived by four children, John Woughter (Carl) of Mountainburg, Jennifer Woughter of Shawnee, OK, James Woughter of Conway, and Jared Woughter (Patty) of Mountainburg; a daughter-in-law, Sarah Farmer of Shawnee; seventeen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. There are no services scheduled at this time.
