

Homer Dow Langley Sr, 74, of Mulberry, Arkansas died Wednesday, August 18, 2010 in a local hospital. He was born July 2, 1936 in Mulberry, Arkansas. He was retired from the Alma Highway Department and of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Elsie Langley; two sons, Edwards Dow Langley and David Allen Langley; as well as a step-daughter, Kerroll Morse Cowan. He is survived by his wife, Marie Langley of the home; three daughters, Ruthie Elwan of Texas, Brenda Ellenbarger of Fort Smith, AR, and Melissa Langley of Gans, OK; one son, Homer Langley, Jr of Fort Smith, AR; one step-son, Bobby Morse of Mulberry, AR; 2 sisters, Janie Langley of Fort Smith, AR and Linda Brashier of Utah; two brothers, Hoyet Langley of Mulberry, AR and Darrell Langley of Mulberry, AR; 20 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 23, 2010 at Mulberry Assembly of God Church with burial at New Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR. Pallbearers will be D.D. Ellenbarger, Anthony Ellenbarger, Gary Lee Jordan, Gary Wilson, Kody Morse, and Bobby Morse. The family will visit with friends from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR.
