

Hugh “Steve” Stovall, 64, of Cedarville, AR, died Friday, April 27, 2012 in his home. He was born September 23, 1947, in El Centro, CA to Richard and Wilma Stovall. He was a truck driver for the Crawford County Highway Department and a member of Shamrock Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James; and three sisters, Lou, June and Lillie.
He is survived by his wife Sue of the home; a daughter, Debra Pershall of Cedarville, AR; two sons, Hugh Stovall, Jr. of Missouri, and Keith Parmenter of Cedarville; two sisters, Marie Rainsburger and Carol Maesson of California; a brother, Johnny Stovall of Kentucky; three grandchildren, Trisha Stovall of Missouri, Dillon Hobbs and Daniel Turpin of Cedarville; and a great-granddaughter.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Shamrock Church, near Cedarville, AR with burial at Kimbler Cemetery near Cedarville under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be James Parmenter, Keith Willet, Chris Marion, Wesley McCrae, Dillon Hobbs, and Mike Mayfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Turpin, J.R. Parmenter, Joe Easter, and the Crawford County Highway Department personnel.
The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral home in Van Buren, AR.
