Jennifer Moon

Jennifer Moon, 67, of Alma, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Fort Smith. She was born December 27, 1947 in Kinston, NC to the late Clifton Jones and Louise McGhee. She retired after 25 years as a clerk for the City of Alma and attended New Heights Baptist Church.

She is survived by her companion, Noah Johnson; three daughters, Cindy Williams and husband Ricky of Alma, Libby McGill and husband Clayton of Van Buren, and Becca Reynolds and husband John of Fayetteville; a son, Wil Moon and wife Leslie of Alma, AR; a sister, Anita McGhee of Pueblo, CO; four brothers, Murray Hill of California, Mac McGhee of Fort Smith, Donald Taylor of North Carolina, and Buddy Rodriguez of North Carolina; and seven grandchildren, Macy McGill, John Paul Williams, Elissa Williams, Brooks McGill, Gwen Bowen, Sophia Moon and Jacquelyn Reynolds.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Chief Russell White, Sheriff Ron Brown, Mike Allen, Bobby Childers, Brian Turner, and Rick Hamilton.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2015, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
